PlayStation and AMD's collaborative Project Amethyst is making strides for both PSSR and FSR4 in gaming but continues to be misunderstood and misrepresented so I thought I'd make a quick video not talking about how it's being misrepresented or misunderstood but the simple facts of it so you can come to your own conclusions about it.

Reforge Gaming is a gaming community where every day at 9:30 AM EST we upload a video about a gaming topic and then have a live Video Game Podcast about that video afterward. Watch the Video for what I think - hang out afterward to tell me what you think!

In This Video essay, we’ll explore why most gamers never finish their video games and how the psychology of 'The Choice Paradox' and 'Analysis Paralysis' affects our gaming habits.
This isn't about tackling the backlog, it's about just starting a game, ANY game...why is it so hard to pick something?
Our gaming library has never been bigger and yet we are playing video games less and less, we're even watching others play their games over playing our own.
We talk about the psychology and philosophy of choice theory. From Barry Schwartz's Paradox Of Choice, the famous Jam experiment and even 18th Century Danish Philosophers.
Learn how decision fatigue mats your ability to enjoy and finish games.
PLUS
The best part is we're not going to just complain, the second half of the video is all solutions!
13 Actionable solutions that can start doing right away to help you with your habits.
If you've ever spent more time scrolling than picking a game or movie, then this video is just for you!
