Er macht eine Tour über die drei bewohnten Inseln – Malta, Gozo und Comino – und taucht in die maltesische Kultur und Geschichte ein. Auch die Natur ist filmreif: Eindrucksvoll ist die Schlucht bei Xaqqa mit ihren schroffen Klippen, an denen Daniel Aßmann sich in ein Kletterabenteuer stürzt. Auf Gozo lernt er das ursprüngliche Farmleben und den Ziegenkäse kennen, für den die Region bekannt ist. Besonders interessant ist auch die Architektur auf der Sonneninsel: Der Archipel ist seit der Jungsteinzeit besiedelt, weshalb es Bauwerke aus verschiedensten Epochen und Kulturen zu bewundern gibt. Der Ggantija-Tempel auf Gozo ist Teil der Megalithkultur und gehört zu den ältesten frei stehenden Gebäuden weltweit.

Malta ist eine kleine Insel im Herzen des Mittelmeers. Die Besiedlungsgeschichte des Archipels lässt sich bis in die Jungsteinzeit zurückverfolgen. Malta stand abwechselnd unter dem Einfluss fast aller großen Kulturen des Mittelmeerraums, darunter die Phönizier, Römer und Byzantiner. Besonders prägend für die Insel waren die Belagerung der Osmanen und die Einflüsse des Malteserordens, welche bis heute in der Kultur, der Architektur und der Identität der Insel präsent sind.

Auf dem Höhepunkt ihrer Macht griffen die Osmanen 1565 die Insel an. Die Große Belagerung Maltas und die daraus folgende Schlacht zwischen den Osmanen unter Sultan Süleyman dem Prächtigen und den Johanniter-Rittern unter der Führung von Großmeister Jean Parisot de Valette dauerte fast vier Monate. Die Verteidigung Maltas durch die Ritter führte zu einer Niederlage der Osmanen und festigte den Ruf Maltas als uneinnehmbare Festung. Am 8. September feiern die Malteser auch heute noch mit einem Feuerwerk den Jahrestag des Sieges über die osmanische Belagerung.

Die Kreuzritter des Johanniterordens haben das Inselreich berühmt gemacht. Ihr Erbe lockt noch heute Touristen aus aller Welt an. Gegründet wurde der sogenannte "Souveräne Ritter- und Hospitalorden des Heiligen Johannes in Jerusalem". Die Aufgabe der Ritter war die Pflege Verletzter und der Schutz von Pilgern. Über Akkon und später Rhodos gelangten sie 1530 nach Malta. Nach ihrem Sieg über die Osmanen errichtete der Johanniterorden wehrhafte Festungsanlagen. Sie spielten eine wichtige Rolle zum Schutz der Seewege im Mittelmeer. Der protestantische Zweig der Ritter ging 1798 nach Brandenburg, der Hauptsitz des ab da Malteserorden genannten Zweiges ist inzwischen Rom. Einige Nachfahren der Helden aus der Zeit der Großen Belagerung leben heute immer noch auf Malta. Im Palast Casa Rocca Piccola hat die Adelsfamilie de Piro ihren Wohnsitz und verwahrt und pflegt dort einen Teil maltesischer Kultur.

Welcome guys, to today's truck driver vlog! In this video, you'll see a day in the life of a female truck driver, including my daily loading of paper rolls. As usual, I was picking up my load from Hungary and unloading in Slovenia. The other day, I took a break from trucking and had a sunny beach day by the Adriatic Sea. I went swimming and sunbathing, but these were definitely the last days of summer. After waking up in the morning, I made breakfast with bacon, fried eggs, and some tomatoes. Then I headed to the beach, which was about 8 kilometers away by foot, but on my way back, I found a shorter route, around 5 kilometers. The next day, I hit the road again after loading shoes from Italy to Romania. I drove all night and had the road all to myself. I hope you enjoy the video! 🌞

Ok, this was weird. It took me almost a month after getting a sub 6 to pb again and in same day, right after getting WR I decided to give the game another shot and managed to beat my time with a 1 second improvement. Again I whish this was a 05:55 or lower, but this run feels much better than the previous one due to not feeling like I made any mistake or let nerves to interfere in the run and due to a perfect fight against Kintaro for a change.

This could have been a 05:55 if Shao Kahn had shoot his spear in beginning of the round in at least 1 of the rounds, but he unfortunatelly gave slow patterns for both rounds (Fast gives me a 89 if I have perfect execution while slow gives me a 87).

Pretty pleased with this run. Let's see if it will be beaten, then I think about improving it or not.

Cara, isso foi estranho. Demorei quase um mês depois de conseguir um sub 6 para bater meu tempo e no mesmo dia, logo após conseguir o WR eu decido tentar novamente e consigo bater meu próprio WR em 1 segundo. Novamente eu gostaria que fosse, pelo menos, um tempo de 05:55 ou mais baixo, mas sinto que esta corrida é bem melhor que a anterior devido eu não sentir que cometi algum erro ou que deixei os nervos interferirem no resultado final e porque consegui uma luta perfeita contra o Kintaro pra variar.

Poderia ter sido um 05:55 se o Shao Kahn tivesse atirado a magia dele no início de algum dos rounds, mas ele, infelizmente, me deu o padrão de ataque lento em ambos os rounds (com o padrão rápido eu consigo um 89 no timer se a execução for perfeita enquanto que o padrão lento me dá um tempo de 87).

Estou bem satisfeito com esta corrida. Vamos ver se ela será batida, então eu vejo se eu tento melhorar ou não o meu tempo.
