Trump tariffs: China says it does not fear more US tariffs, will not accept

China has urged the US to meet it "halfway" amid the spiralling trade war. Beijing repeated that it will "fight to the end" if a deal cannot be reached. The foreign ministry added that while China is not interested in a fight, it is not afraid of more tariffs. Beijing also warned that US President Trump's tariffs go "against the whole world", given the damage they do to trading systems and the threat they pose to the stability of the global economic order.
